Project
Evergreen Health – Seattle, WA
For EvergreenHealth, an interior and exterior wayfinding program was developed for their medical and hospital campus in Kirkland, Washington. A central challenge of the project was bringing clarity and consistency to a complex, multi-building campus that had grown over time, with entrance designations and signage that had become difficult for patients, visitors, and staff to navigate. A streamlined nomenclature system was developed for all entrance designations, replacing inconsistent naming conventions with a logical, unified approach that made it easier for people to orient themselves and clearly communicate their location across the campus.
Signage was designed to balance EvergreenHealth’s brand identity with the functional demands of a busy medical environment, where clear, stress-reducing wayfinding is especially important for patients and families arriving for care. Every element, including exterior monument signs, building identification, interior directional signage, and room identification, was carefully coordinated to create a seamless experience throughout the campus. The result was a cohesive, patient-centered wayfinding system that reflects the quality and professionalism of EvergreenHealth’s services.
